A polished draft can still contain an incorrect date, an invented detail or a promise your business cannot keep. Treat writing quality and factual accuracy as separate checks.

Review the details that matter

Highlight names, numbers, product claims and deadlines. Compare each with an approved source. Open cited links and check whether the page supports the specific claim, rather than simply discussing the same subject.

For customer messages, check prices, refund language and delivery commitments against your actual policy. Remove unnecessary personal information before sharing the draft with colleagues.

Give one person the final decision

Assign a reviewer who understands the task. Record unresolved questions instead of allowing confident wording to hide them. If the evidence is missing, narrow the claim or leave it out.

Keep a short correction log during a pilot. Recurring mistakes can show where a template, better source material or a manual step would be more useful than another generated draft.
